If I can see it,
I cant be it,
because the experience
is not to be
or not to be
but the extent to which I am
me,
which is not an easy thing
nor does it bring
me joy
to feel lost in space,
someday gone without a trace,
a single wave
in a vast sea
that moves
with and without me,
and yet is the measure of a man
measured at all,
how much,
how high,
how tall?
Am I real?
Will I wake up
after I fall,
or will I keep dreaming
of a life
I can’t remember
much before December
as I grasp for answers
in words that take flight
in the middle of the night,
curled up tight
beneath a blanket
on my couch,
listening to sports radio,
stars twinkling overhead
in outer space,
I toss
and turn,
and I regret
things
I could have changed,
forget things
I can’t lose,
remember
things
I can’t forget,
hold onto things
I never had,
let go
of what I never knew,
the real
and the true
the me
in you,
and just you,
the man I am
becoming,
who cries
because it’s Friday morning
in a seven day life,
and I’ve lost my appetite
for the future.

RPL
Your story is your strategy.
RPL helps individuals, organizations, and teams turn narrative into infrastructure—aligning purpose, leadership, fundraising, culture, and communication around one coherent story.
Whether you are a person navigating a life transition, a leader seeking clarity, or an organization preparing for what is next, we help you move from scattered to strategic.
About Spaciology
Spaciology is not abstract theory; rather, it is a practice you can feel.
- Inside: Pause, breathe, notice.
- Outside: Design rooms, rituals, and agendas that slow the spin and invite care.
- Between us: Make dialogue a place where different truths can live together long enough to teach something.
Ultimately, leadership is the art of making space for what’s important (for everyone) and letting that clarity shape the next step. When we change the spaces from which we lead, our strategies change with them.
